HyperUrban is an international symposium dedicated to reflecting on the city in terms of communication, art, culture, philosophy, economy, politics and technology. It is the result of a network involving several laboratories in different universities and countries, in an effort to depict the transformations in the post-digital city operated by information and communication technologies. Created in 2008 at the CITU (Cybermedia, Interaction, Transdisciplinarity, Ubiquity) at the University of Paris 8 by Khaldoun Zreik, the network is composed by researchers in the fields of Information and Communication Science and Architecture from the University of Mons, the University of Florence, the University of Valencienne, the University of Savoie Mont-Blanc and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. In 2019, the LTDS hosted the seventh edition of the symposium.
